Years ago there was a song named “Mercy Mercy Me (the ecology)” by Marvin Gaye.
Ol’ Marvin (who is no longer walking this planet) sang about what we were doing to our planet. All the wrong things. This was in the days of Motown, back when Diana Ross was singing about mountains not being high enough to keep her away from you.
Back when I was mostly concerned about “Do you like me? Yes or No, check one of the boxes”
yet here it is, all these years later and instead of us taking heed and doing something about what Ol Marv was telling us, we have continued down the same path….with our goverment or lack of leading the way. yeha, I’m pissed.
